The extraordinary story of a preacher who runs the largest Sunday school in America in the ghettos of New York. Led by Pastor Bill Wilson, and attended by up to 20,000 kids a week, the school's services are far from what we might expect of a Sunday school.
In March 2003, Pastor Bill was shot in the head by armed muggers. He considered his near death experience just part of the price he has had to pay in trying to bring the children in one of New Yorks most notorious ghettos closer to God. In this documeantary, we are taken behind the scenes. In dramatic footage, we follow Pastor Bill and one of his newest recruits, 21-year-old Paul from England, as they face up to the challenges of life as Sunday school teachers in the tough ghettos New York.
