To some extent the 9/11 attacks grew out of the way Osama Bin Laden and other extremists in the Middle East view the U.S. and Americans in general. This Mosaic Special Report looks at the prevailing views and perceptions of America held by those in the Middle East and examines how those views are shaped and how have they changed in the two years since 9/11. The program also considers the impact that U.S. actions in the war on terror have had on Middle East views. The one-hour discussion program, hosted by Wendy Hanamura, features studio and remote guest, along with comments submitted by Link TV viewers.
GUEST LIST:
Jamal Dajani, Director of Middle Eastern Programming, Link TV
Imad Musa, Washington Producer, Al Jazeera TV
Larry Michalak, Professor and former Vice Chair of Middle Eastern Studies at UC Berkeley
