WORLD SUMMIT ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Summit is the largest ever international meeting on sustainability bringing together thousands of participants, including heads of State and Government, business leaders and representatives of civil society, to promote sustainable development and economic, environmental and social decision-making. The Summit will focus on building commitment for action to implement Agenda 21, the comprehensive plan for achieving sustainable development adopted at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio.
