TV MEDIA IN THE PALESTINIAN NATIONAL AUTHORITY

Palestine Television

The Palestinian Satellite Channel is operated by the Palestinian Broadcast Corporation under the authority of the Ministry of Information of the Palestinian National Authority. The channel is a 24-hour station with a focus on new, current affairs, films, documentaries, soap operas and music. It has been operating under financial hardship that limits its news to studio reports, wire stories and feeds from other broadcasters. The main office and studios were burned in 2001, the first year of the Intifada, and PSC has since been operating from temporary headquarters in Ramallah and Gaza. A live stream is available on their site.
