The second episode tells of past and present nuclear dangers. The show explores the myth that the end of the Cold War decreased the threat of a nuclear holocaust. The New Face of Terror: Upping the Ante

The third episode explores the dangerous intersection between global terrorism and these weapons. Viewers are taken around the world to see what goes into the making of a terrorist and what could be done to prevent it.

Confronting Terrorism: Turning the Tide

The final episode asks how mankind can create a safer world while preparing to combat the worst. It takes an in-depth look at homeland security as well as some of the proactive programs around the world that address changing the environments that breed terrorism and instability.

Video Premiere

Artist: Sevara Nazarkhan
Song: " Mogulchai Navo"
Country: Uzbekistan
Official Sevara website

Sevara sent us this video a while backbut up until now we only had the "pop" version of the track, with synths and backup vocals; we did not have the original arrangement, which was traditional vocal, tar and drums. We have it now, fresh from Uzbekistan. It's a real treat to be able to hear the beautiful melismas that Sevarah sings so effortlessly. Mogulchai Navo is a classical court song, based on the musical system of muggam, or modes. The video was filmed in Tashkent, and the cultural center there contributed costumes, dancers and choreography.

--and now you can get this track and another one of our favorites, "Gazli" in its original arrangement exclusively at the Link TV Music Store. What a scoop!

Premiere: Monday, 9/20 at 7:55 PM ET (4:55 PM PT)

(Keep them coming. Next week it could be yours!)

(Mosaic: World News From The Middle East) I have never seen a news program that offers such honest and indebth programming. Would love to see much more of it... This is the type of news we need on main stream t.v people need to see the truth. Sent: 9/8/2004

Awesome Job you do.... The music of World Link TV first drew me to your broadcast. You play awesome songs and some styles I never knew existed. Then you became Link TV and your scope and focus increased because you show us realities the other media sources are afraid to reveal. I am now a better informed person about parts of this great planet we live on. The understanding you bring to us all is way greater than the value it takes to make it public. So many of us need Link TV to go forward into our futures with love for all mankind. I hope your mission is never altered from your current path.

(Re: Good Morning Afganistan) This is the best TRUE Journalism I have seen in the USA! The documentary was great, the footage fantastic and I love the lack of Right or Left Spin. Youre so much better than FOX NEWS or CNN. I was very happy with "Good Morning Afganistan" and I watch "Mosaic" often to try to gain understanding. SW I often don't have a lot of extra funds at the end of the month, but I have decided tp put forth an effort to save something of my funds to donate in support of your station. It wont be much, but it'll be as much as I can spare. I hope others out there will do the same. Thanks for the good work!
