A Link TV original production that
explores Islam in an age when Muslim extremists are laying claim to the
religion. Veteran NPR and PBS journalist, Ray Suarez, hosts a provocative
roundtable discussion with American Muslim scholars and, via satellite, Mike
Scheuer, author of Imperial Hubris and a former CIA expert who has
followed fundamentalist Islamic movements for a decade. The program gives
Americans the opportunity to hear rarely-heard Muslim voices, including Shaykh
Muhammad Tantawi, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the first
prominent Shaykh to speak out against Bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks.�
Video pieces from the Middle East are interwoven throughout the program to give
viewers a political and cultural context.

Traband started out as a rock band in 1995 but have since changed to an acoustic lineup of Tuba, trumpet, clarinet, accordion, banjo and drums.) Their music is a melange of czech folk, jewish and gypsy influences, interpreted in an urban way.� The beautifully shot video really shows off the beauty of the Czech countryside while it tells the story of an immigrant who feels he has no future, but remembers his past with remorse.

I must confess that I never heard of LinkTV before channel surfing one day. I happened to come upon a music block and I was hooked. You have opened up a new door for me when it comes to finding new music. I have been introduced to over 20 musicians that I love and now support.

mosaic and journal - thank you so much and Bravo on your effort to bring the best to us, so informative and intresting are all the programs, news, Mosaic (one of my favorits), movies and world music, how none bias and informative is the news, Thank you again, we should have had link TV long time ago, but thanks to you at least we have it now, I hope Link TV stays around for a long time, I for one am spreaing the word around to who ever I know to check this channel outand hopefully with the help of contributors, our children will enjoy your (our) link TV years later.
