Festival In The Desert

world-famous musicians and adventurous music lovers trekked deep in the Sahara
Desert to perform and attend the third-annual Festival in the Desert. A unique
celebration of the music and culture of the Tuareg people, the festival also
welcomes artists from other parts of Mali, Africa and the world to one of the
most remote music festivals on the globe. Includes performances by Ali Farka
Toure and Robert Plant.

1999 the tiny Texas town of Tulia woke to discover that a tenth of its black
population had been arrested for drug trafficking. No drugs or money were
